Work Experience:

Summer 2015-Present: 3D Artist, Outward, Inc.

  • Created photo-real models of household products for use in web and print marketing

  • Wrote and modified Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Fall 2013-Summer 2015: Freelance Environment Artist

  • Created complete level for the tech demo of the game Skull Man Grog in Unity.

  • Created environment assets for the tech demo of Heartlands.

  • Added destruction and debris to partially-completed level of an unannounced indie FPS.

Summer 2012: CG Generalist Intern, ReadIMAGINE

  • Modeled, textured, and lit characters and environments for interactive children’s book apps.

  • Created 3D version of the eponymous ship for the digital version of the New York Times bestseller, Ship of Dreams.

Fall 2012-Spring 2013: Software Tutor, California College of the Arts

  • Assisted fellow students in learning software, primarily Maya, Mudbox, and Javascript.

Artistic Skills:

  • Environment creation for both real-time and pre-rendered content.

  • High and low polygon modeling of organic and hard surface environment assets.

  • 3D generalist skills, including basic rigging, animation, VFX, lighting, and rendering.

Extensive experience with Maya, Photoshop, UVLayout, Zbrush, Mudbox Unreal, Substance Designer, Blender, Unity, and Quixel Suite.

Basic working knowledge of 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, World Machine, Javascript, Python scripting (including Maya and Blender APIs), Illustrator, InDesign, and AfterEffects.
